Director / Principal (AR-2): This represents the highest-paying tier in the guidelines, with a designated salary scale of Rs. 133,220 - 10 x 3,600 - 169,220 (AR-2). Under Schedule 11 of DMS Circular No. 01/2025, the starting basic salary step is Rs. 116,763/-.

Assistant Directors (MM 1-1) (includes Administration & Supplies, Maintenance & Civil, Certificate, and Information Systems): These roles carry a salary scale of Rs. 91,690 - 10 x 2,480 - 15 x 3,450 - 168,240 (MM 1-1) and start at a basic salary step of Rs. 81,710/-.

Lecturer Gr.II (AR-1): This academic role is placed on a salary scale of Rs. 91,650 - 10 x 2,480 - 15 x 3,450 - 168,200 (AR-1) with an initial basic salary step of Rs. 81,675/-.

Operational Officers (JM 1-1) (includes District Officer Gr.II, Training Officer Gr.II, Accounts Officer Gr.II, Database Administrator Gr.II, System Administrator Gr.II, VRU Service Officer Gr.II, and Quality Assurance Officer Gr.II): These middle management roles operate on a salary scale of Rs. 72,650 - 10 x 1,360 - 18 x 2,040 - 122,970 (JM 1-1) and start at a basic salary step of Rs. 65,633/-.

Transport Officer Gr.III and Instructor Gr.III (MA-4): These roles are on a salary scale of Rs. 64,320 - 10 x 1,360 - 15 x 1,670 - 5 x 2,040 - 113,170 (MA-4) with a starting basic salary step of Rs. 58,598/-.
